Louis Roederer Champagne
Cristal, the ultimate Champagne to be produced by Champagne Louis Roederer,
builds upon the 200-year tradition of fine winemaking that has made Roederer
French Champagnes amongst the most sought-after in the world. For connoisseurs
the world over, there is nothing finer than Cristal. Jewel in the Louis Roederer
crown, cuvée CRISTAL remains faithful to the value which inspired it in 1876
when, especially created for Tsar Alexander II, it sought to epitomize the
elegance and purity of Champagne. Cristal is produced in accordance with strict
production criteria. Vinified and aged in oak, Cristal shows a delicate vinosity.
Assemblage: 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay
CRISTAL 90
A very fine, very complex, constantly evolving bouquet. Opening notes of ripe,
white-fleshed fruits and dried fruits give rise to a melody of white flowers,
butter, brioche and toast. The attack is straightforward and smooth. On the
palate, the wine has tremendous presence, creating a sensation of creaminess,
flexibility and fullness.
CRISTAL ROSE 95
Louis Roederer is one of the few houses to still use skin maceration, a delicate
method that consists of letting Pinot Noirs macerate several hours on the press
to extract more fruit and color. The cuvée Cristal Rosé is produced exclusively
from the best grapes of Champagne Louis Roederer's own "Premier Cru" vineyards.
