Champagne Drappier
Established in Urville in the Cote des Bars region since 1908, our family today
grow a 75 hectare (99-acre) estate. Charles de Gaulle, an epicurian neighbour in
Colombey les Deux Eglises, came to adorn his cellar with our most famous cuvees.
Planted by the Gallo Romans circa 1 AD, our vineyard was one of the first to be
improved by the Cistercians of the Clairvaux Abbey. Saint Bernard participated
in the building of our 12th Century cellars.
The strong-flavoured cuvees that are currently aging here are shipped to the
best tables on the five continents.

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, Dear Friends of Champagne,
We have been passionately cultivating the family vineyards for 1808, in order to
extract from this very special terroir the soul of DRAPPIER Champagne.
Over and above technical prowess we concentrate on producing a particular style,
while at the same time improving it through attention to the smalest details
which ultimately make the difference.
Instead of just sophisticated excellence, we prefer to focus on the natural and
the authentic. It is our goal to give the gastronomic and shared pleasure of
tasting Champagnes with the well established character.
